Soil Moist Granular Plus
After many successful years of using
Soil Moist, customers asked if the manufacturer could incorporate a slow
time release fertilizer into the Soil Moist product. After years of research
the manufacturer came up with a 7-7-7 Plus formula.
When mixed in the soil, the crystals will soften and swell as water is added and absorbed. When the potting material or soil dries, the polymer will release its water to the plant. Soil Moist in essence acts as a water reservoir. During periods of drought the stored water is released to the plant. The expansion and retraction of the polymer during the watering cycle also encourages soil aeration, which is important to all plants.
The Plus formula of the soil moist will release fertilizer to the plant constantly for eight to nine months. After that time the water retention ability of Soil Moist will continue to work for up to two-three years.
