DEER OFF FACT SHEET

• WHAT IS DEER-OFF?
  Deer Off is an All-Natural, EPA-approved, cost-effective deer repellent. It is environment-friendly, biodegradable and does not contain any harmful chemicals.

• HOW DOES DEER-OFF WORK?
  Deer Off solution produces an odor and taste factor that is offensive to animals but is mild enough not to bother humans. This highly effective food-based product deters deer from browsing on valuable ornamental plants, flowers, shrubs and trees. Because deer do not like Deer Off's scent and taste they choose to browse elsewhere.

• THE DEER-OFF SOLUTION:
  Helps stop deer predation on your property. Fringe benefits: helps keep away deer ticks as well as other browsing animals.

• ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY, ANIMAL- SAFE:
  Has been EPA approved in 49 states. Will not harm the deer. Deer-off can be used on fruits and vegetables safety without any affect to humans. But it does protect the plantings & helps stop deer predation.
  Spring: Spray on new plants and flowers.
  Summer: Spray on flowers and new growth.
  Fall: Spray on bushes and Fall flowers.
  Winter: Spray to protect evergreens and trees.
• HOW OFTEN SHOULD I SPRAY?
  One thorough application lasts two to three months; rain will not wash it off. Will not change the color or texture of plants and will not leave any white film or residue on the leaves.

  In a 1998 study conducted by Rutgers University, it rated Deer-Off #1 out of 25 repellants tested.

• AVAILABLE SIZES:
  1. 32 ounce ready to use spray bottle will treat 40-50 ornamental shrubs that are 4 foot high. Complete instructions on bottle for treatments. Cost per ounce in this size is pprox. 43 cents
  2. 128 ounce concentrate formula that when mixed with tap water will yield 8 gallons of spray to protect 16,000 square feet of your property. Cost per ounce in this size is approx. 19 cents.

"One tip you might want to pass on to your customers regarding the deer spray is that with all that rotten stuff in it to keep them away, it has a tendency to clog the nozzle when using a garden sprayer (the kind with the pump up tank and the wand). My wife was having to take the nozzle apart and unclog it every five minutes. A local landscaper told us to use warm/hot water to make the mix and that solved the problem.
