Automatic Vent Opener

With the Juliana automatic window openers you can be sure of an even temperature in your greenhouse day and night. To be continuously controlled from 62-73º F (17-23º C).

Available in two types:

Ventomax: is the first generation of our solar powered control unit that will open automatically to vent greenhouses.

Univent: will do all the same things as the Ventomax but it comes with a spring loaded mechanism that makes for secure closings.

The automatic windows gradually open at a preset temperature between 60 degrees to 75 degrees F and open fully with a temperature of approx. 90 degrees is met. The windows are easy to install and are made of corrosion resistant galvanized steel. Automatic vent windows are warranted for up to one year.

If using the solar powered windows we recommend removing the cylinder during periods with frost as the openers may try to open the windows when the sun warms up the cylinders. If the windows are frozen, this may cause the cylinders to burst due to their demand for getting rid of their surplus energy.
