FGS Harvesting Gloves

Every now and then a great product comes to us that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. This was the case with these gloves. They were orginally, and still are, designed to be used by harvesting companies to pick fruit. We started using them around our homes in the garden and found that these were the best gardening gloves we have ever used.

Previous to our discovery of this glove, we used leather gloves while gardening but in the hotter weather our hands would sweat and in the colder weather our hands always felt cold. These gloves because of the fabric they are made from do just the opposite. The material of this glove is made out of a polypropylene which is like the "cool-max" material that a lot of athletes wear these days. The fabric "wicks" away the moisture from your hands and hence you feel cool in the hotter months and warm in the cooler months. Almost like a fabric with a brain. The other big advantage to these gloves is that after they are totally coated with dirt you can throw them in the washing machine and they pop back out just like when you bought them.

In actually harvesting situations we have found that this glove will last about three weeks in an intensive eight hour day. With most gardening situation we have had these gloves last all of the gardening season and even into next season.
