After the Felco 6 pruner was introduced, the customers who liked that style requested Felco create the same pruner but with rotating handles like the Felco F-7 pruner. Felco came through with what the public wanted and introduced the F-12 pruner.
Some of it's primary uses have been in the grape industry in the trimming of vines. It is also the number one choice of our florist customers. One of the features that is unique to this pruner is that the shorter blades facilitate closer cutting to the stem of the plant. And now with the rotating handles it helps reduce blisters and muscle fatigue for those users who are involved in prolonged pruning.
