Eschenbach Folding Linen Tester Magnifiers

Eschenbach again combines their quality casings with exceptionally clear lenses. These lens got their name, linen tester, by use in the clothing industry to examine fabrics. It is also very popular in the printing business to check the number of dots per inch on printed material. The majority of our customers use this lens to monitor insect populations.

The collapsible pocket magnifiers differ from the folding magnifiers in that they provide a fixed focal distance, no adjusting for focus. The picture to the right is an 8 power metal casing lens. All the casings are made out of metal with the exception of an additional 8 power plastic casing. The smaller the power, the less the amount of glass and metal and hence the pricing is less.
