When tending to a garden you may have to come into contact with a number of chemicals including pesticides, herbicides and acids that can be harmful to the human body. Skin, eyes and respiratory systems can all suffer if exposed to harmful chemicals so when mixing pesticides and other chemicals stay protected with a heavy duty vinyl or tyvek apron. Safety goggles and dust masks can protect eyes and throats but your upper torso, midsection and legs will need a heavy duty apron cover to repel harmful chemicals that can easily burn and damage skin.
We offer both heavyweight PVC vinyl and lightweight tyvek aprons to provide full body protection from harmful chemicals, pesticides and other garden product mixtures. Our PVC vinyl chemical aprons feature 20 mil virgin vinyl with electronically heat sealed grommets and extra long nylon strings so you secure the apron in a variety of ways. The PVC vinyl apron is heavy enough not to be disturbed by wind gusts yet still offer outstanding protection from chemicals and is tear resistant.
Tyvek chemical aprons are lighter than PVC and work better if you have to move around a lot while you are mixing chemicals or pesticides. Ties come pre-attached to the apron for a secure fit and the durable tyvek material offers high quality protection from most pesticides, chemicals and acids.
