Wet/Dry Bulb Hygrometer

Used for years by greenhouse and nursery growers to maintain ideal balances of moisture and humidity in hot houses. This instrument measures relative humidity by taking the temperature difference between a dry bulb thermometer and one in which the bulb is wet.

Once you have this difference, you simple look up the relative humidity on the attached chart. The glass reservoir between the two thermometers is filled with water and a wick surrounds the bulb on one of the thermometers to keep it wet. The unit is accurate and easy to read.
