Taylor Mercury Min-Max Thermometer
Designed
to record daily minimum and maximum temperatures, the Taylor Mercury Filled
Min Max Thermometer consists of U shaped tube that holds columns of mercury
suspended in a clear liquid. At the top of each column, a floater rests
that moves up / down as the temperatures increase / decrease. As temperatures
increases / decrease, the mercury goes up and down, leaving the floater
at the highest / lowest points since last being reset. Each thermometer
is hand calibrated and checked for accuracy before shipping. They are
a reliable, low cost way to get an accurate high / low for the day. Range:
-40°F to +120° F in 2° increments.
