Most agronomists will
tell you that you should test your soil periodically throughout the growing
season but the most important time is the spring and then in the fall
if you prepare your beds for the next growing season.
For most people who have never done a soil test you will love how simple this system is. Everything is color coded, including the capsules. All you do is take a representative sample of your soil and mix with water. Then take that slurry solution and transfer it to the proper color comparator, add powder from one of the capsule, shake it up and read your results. It's that easy!
Within minutes you can get results on soil pH, N, P & K. The kit also comes with handy instructions for adjusting soil pH and fertilizer guidelines and pH preference for over 450 plants.
