The patented Watermark soil moisture sensor is a solid state, non maintenance sensor which has been proven in service for more than two decades. This electrical resistance type sensor provides accurate soil moisture readings from 10 centibars to 200 centibars. The sensor requires no water or vacuum gauge- making it maintenance free. The Watermark sensor does not dissolve in the soil as usually occurs with a gypsum block.

This system is typically used in applications where there are freezing temperatures, vandalism, or mowing equipment. System stays completely underground and is protected from all the above situations. Sensor comes standard with a 5' lead but can be customized up to 300' for tying into a central panel. Use Watermark Meter to read resistance of sensor. Optional Watermark Moisture Control panel and Watermark Electronic Module available.
