Online Ordering

Although we only show the Visa logo, we also accept these other credit cards: Mastercard, & American Express.

Once you click the "buy me" button on any item it will ask you for your zip code. The shopping cart defaults to Fed-EX but you can change that by clicking the small arrow on the right side of the "shipped to you via" line. After you submit your choices the shopping cart will give you the complete costs including shipping and taxes (if applicable). From there you can continue shopping for other items or you can proceed to checkout. At the checkout screen you will be given several choices of how you will like to pay for the item(s).

We have tried to make the process of ordering from us easy but at the same time secure. We will outline the different steps you go through below to order but as always if you prefer to call, one of our staff is available during our normal business hours of 8;00 am - 4:00 pm M-F, EST. If you have any questions at all about the ordering process that isn't dealt with here please e-mail us and we will try to answer your question within 24 hours.

Where do I start?
In most cases after picking a category (i.e.. hand tools), you will have a choice of the many different types of tools that we carry (i.e.. pruners, loppers, etc.). After picking one type you will come to a table that lists all the items that we carry for that specific tool along with pricing. If you see an item that matches up with how much you want to spend, you can click on the small "i" on the right side of the table to see more info on the product.

I see the product but how do I order ?
At the bottom or each product page is a table that lists the item, the price, the quantity and a small button on the right that says buy now. After choosing the quantity that you want, click on the buy me button and the shopping cart system will take you into the next phase.

Why do I get an error when I submit my order?
Sometimes a particular item will require more information than just the quantitiy desired. A few of our products have choices in the ordering table such as different styles, different colors, etc. If you encounter an error it is most likely because you didn't choose one of the options in the table.

What happens next?
After selecting an item, the shopping cart will take you to a page that asks you to fill in the destination country (the default is the United States), the package destination zip code and how you would like shipped. The default shipping is Fed-EX but we do have other choices. See next step

How many different choices do I have in shipping my product?
The default shipping that comes up automatically is Fed-EX ground but we will list here all the other choices. When you are at the page where you put in you zip code, the next box down shows Fed-EX ground. If you click on the little arrow to the right another box will open up all of the ways that we can ship to. If you want a different choice just select which one you desire. Here are the choices available:

  • Fed-EX ground
  • Fed-EX ground commercial
  • Fed-EX ground to Canada
  • Fed-EX next day air
  • Fed-EX second day air
  • Fed-EX three day select
  • United State Postal Priority Mail
  • International Shipments
  • Replacement parts (parts only)

Okay I chose my shipper..what is next?
The next page just shows a summary of what is in your shopping cart so far. Nothing is final until you go to a final checkout and submit an order. From this page you do have quite a few options:

  • You can increase or decrease a quantity of an item
  • You can remove any item from your cart
  • You can empty you cart completely
  • You can change your shipping options as many times as you want to see how much will cost

What else does this screen show me?
On the right side of the box it will show you a shipping summary (i.e.. how many boxes and what they weigh). It will tell you how much sales tax there will be if you are a resident of Florida. Note: there is no tax if you are shipping the product outside the state of Florida. Finally it tells you that shipping weights are estimated and we confirm all our orders by e-mail when they ship.

What if I want to order more items in your site?
From this summary page you have two choices. You can either continue to checkout by pressing the large "Check Out Now" button at the bottom of the table or you can press your back button on your web browser to return to our website. You can do this as many times as you want until you are ready to go to checkout.

Why do items still remain in my cart after I chose to empty ?
Certain computer browsers retain what you see on the screen as a "cookie" in your computer. Please be assured that if you empty your cart there will be nothing left in it.

Okay I'm ready to checkout now..what is next?
After you press the checkout button the cart will come to another screen that asks if you are a Florida resident or not. If you click yes it will automatically add the tax into the calculation. If we are shipping the product to you outside the state of Florida check the no button.

I have chosen whether I'm located in Florida or not..what's next?
The next page that comes up offers you a variety of choices as to how you would like to place your order. If your browser on your computer supports secure transactions then a little lock box will come up after you choose one of the following. If your browser doesn't support, then you can still proceed with a non-secure transaction. When in doubt choose the secure transaction method. Here are the choices you can make:

  • Order by Credit Card Online
  • Order by Credit Card Online Using Separate billing and Shipping Address
  • Order by Credit Card Using a Fax Machine
  • Order by Credit Card Using the Postal Mail
  • Order by Personal Check or Money Order through the Postal Mail
  • Order by Purchase Order Online (Business Customers Only)

How do I know my order is secure?
If you have chosen a secure transaction box listed above then there will be a small image of a lock at either the bottom right of the screen or at the bottom left. The whole process only goes into secure mode after you choose one of our payment methods listed above. Everything before that is information that just stays on your computer.

What do I do from here?
Please fill in all the boxes that are listed. Sometimes if a box is left empty the order will come back with an error and you will have an opportunity to put the information in. If you have any special requirements regarding this order please include in the box that says "special instructions". We make every effort to follow all your requirements. When you are all done filling in the boxes press the submit box at the bottom of the form

I have submitted the order...what happens next?
After you submit the order you will get a confirmation within a hour telling you that we have the order. Since our business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, no one will do anything with the order if comes in before or after those hours. We make every effort to get all the orders out within 24 hours with the exception of Saturday, Sunday and holidays. The holiday rush around Christmas not only puts a strain on our efforts to complete your order but also on our shippers. If you wish to get a package in time for the gift giving season please allow plenty of time (i.e. couple of weeks) to get the product to you.

Do you send out e-mail confirmations when you ship?
Yes we do send out confirmations. If you have chosen Fed-EX shipping and you wish to follow the order through the Fed-EX website, you can request the shipping number in the special instructions section of the ordering form.
