Frostproof.com uses a secure-socket layer encryption to encrypt transmission between Server and your browser. What this means is that all your personal information including credit card number, name and address cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

For security reasons, we do not store your credit-card numbers. In addition, to avoid fraud, the bill to address for your purchases must match, exactly, the billing name and address of the credit card used when purchasing. You ship to address, however, need not match the billing address. If you send us incorrect information, it will only hold up your order until we can get back with you to correct the mistake.

If you prefer not to send your credit card number over the Internet: We have several way you can order from us without having to enter your complete credit card number on the Web:

1. Using our PO Option.
   
   Just fill out our order form on-line, and when it comes to the selection of ways to pay select PO. Under the PO Number put only your card's last five digits and it's expiration date (example 1 4878 exp.: 06/99). Then, to finish placing your order by phone, call:

   Please note: Our office hours are: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Monday - Friday. We don't have an answering machine or operators standing by 24 hours a day. We try and keep our costs down. Thanks.

    

2. Faxing your order in.
   
   We have a way for you to use your credit card without ever having to enter the complete number on the Internet. When filling out the form choose "Pay by Fax". When it comes to the section on "payment method" your should select the card type, and enter your complete name, including middle initial, as it appears at the bottom of your credit card.

   You can then either enter your card number here (entering the card here will not send it out over the Internet.) or you can choose to leave it blank and fill it in after you print the form. Then please fill out all the complete shipping information. When you are all done with the order, the system will give you a document that is suitable for printing. Sign the form, making sure that all the information is correct, and fax the form to:

   You will get a confirmation by e-mail of your order, but your credit card, even if you filled it in, will not be on the confirmation. This keeps you information totally private.

   Please note: Our fax number works 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Sometimes, however, on busy weekday nights or long weekends, our fax machine runs out of paper. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we please ask you to re-send the fax during the next business day should you receive an error.

    

3. Paying by check of postal money order
   
   You can select "pay by check" on the order form, and send us a personal check or money in U.S. dollars for the amount of your order. PLEASE NOTE that currently we are only able to accept postal money orders denominated in U.S. dollars or checks denominated in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Checks must have a valid nine-digit bank routing number (ABA code) micro-encoded on the bottom of the check.
   
   Paying by check does slow down you order somewhat, as we don't ship the items until your funds clear. If you are in the United States, paying by personal check typically delays your order about seven to ten days.
